The cinema release of ‘The Martian’ (2015) even coincided with the possible discovery of water on the red planet. But how much is scientific fact and how much is Hollywood fiction? In this activity, selected clips of scientific importance/key situations are used as the basis for assessment on the accuracy of the science in the film.
